Roadworthy Inspections
A vehicle roadworthy is essential in Australia and all cars must have a current roadworthy certificate to legally be driven on the road.
When we complete our inspection, we will provide a comprehensive check over of your car to ensure its safety and efficiency as per Australian and state standards and requirements. We will also identify any issues that may become dangerous to yourself, passengers or other road users, now or in the near future.
During the inspection we will check over several components of your vehicle including:
Wheels and tyres
Seats and seatbelts
Steering, suspension and brake systems
Lights and reflectors
General structure of the vehicle
Exhaust
Windscreen and windows – including washers and wipers
Any other safety related items on the body, chassis or engine
The results of our inspection will be discussed with you and if your vehicle has passed then a certificate will be issued. If any issues are found, then these will be itemised and we will provide you with detailed information about what is required in order to bring your vehicle up to the legal requirements.
We will not proceed with any work on your vehicle without your permission, however you will not be able to receive a roadworthy certificate until it has met the appropriate standards. We will keep you informed throughout the entire process and ensure that any inconvenience to you is kept to a bare minimum.
All inspections are carried out by our trained and skilled mechanics who not only understand the requirements that are needed but can also ensure that all work is carried out safely and thoroughly.
Whether you are buying or selling a vehicle, and you are required to obtain a Roadworthy Safety Certificate, we can help you and provide you with answers to any questions you may have.
